"Uphill walking and hiking I do a fair bit of." Both of these workouts have a lot of health benefits. Harvard Health reports that walking can curb cravings. And the latest research confirms that walking can reduce cravings and intake of a variety of sugary snacks."

Slater broke down her typical diet in her interview on Witney Carson's website. She says that she makes sure to eat healthy. "I'm a salad and fish person. I will eat just a basic leafy salad with an Asian dressing. I also like raw veggies with hummus, but not celery because I hate the aftertaste! I do mostly smoothies though during the season.
