Live Nation Announces Plans For New Festival At The Gorge After Sasquatch! Calls It Quits

WASHINGTON (CelebrityAccess) – When Sasquatch! Music Festival founder Adam Zacks announced in June of 2018 that the popular summer event, which takes place annually at Washington’s beautiful Gorge Amphitheatre, would cease to operate after 17 years, it created something of a void for festivalgoers.

This week, Live Nation announced that it has plans to host a new event at The Gorge, which it promises will “uphold the expectation for quality music.”

With little information on the event currently available, Live Nation claims “details will follow in the weeks to come,” and has suggested that music fans mark May 24-25-26, 2019 in their calendars.

Over the years, Sasquatch! became known for bringing together the worlds of indie rock, hip-hop and electronica and setting them against one of the country’s most breathtaking backdrops. Baring this in mind, LN says it sees its new event helping to a move forward a tradition embraced by music fans for decades by welcoming new audiences and artists to the iconic Northwest institution to share in “moments and memories,” which it hopes “will continue to be created and shared for years to come.”
