You are what you eat, according to Tash. "My diet changed my skin," she told Porter, "no matter how many creams I use, the biggest positive difference I have ever seen in my skin is when I changed how I ate." She focuses on eating clean with very few animal products. "I'm a pescatarian, love eating vegetables and drink plenty of water to flush out toxins. I'm lucky that I actually crave a salad every day and never want a soda."
Tash tries to workout every other day. "I don't feel guilty if I skip a workout because I know I eat well and will train that much harder the next day. If I don't do any exercise I'll at least do some stretching," she told Porter. "I workout 3-4 times a week using the Body By Gilles program. My ex-boyfriend [Gilles Souteyrand] created it; he's an incredible trainer and it's just a 30-minute workout to fit into your schedule."
Tash makes time for self-care every single day. "A bath is my therapy," she told Porter. "It's so important to me that even when I travel, I only book hotel rooms that have a tub. I travel with Epsom bath salts and Aromatherapy Associates bath oils. Traveling on a plane all the time gives me such bad, achy joints that it's a great way to relax."
When Tash is busy, she will slip a 20-minute HIIT training workout into her day. "My routine is warming up on the treadmill for 20 minutes, including sprinting, and then a mixture of core, arms, butt and legs," she told Women's Health UK.
Tash allows herself coffee and the occasional glass of wine, "but alcohol is the one thing that I think really makes me gain weight because you're not aware of how many calories you're taking in," she told Women's Health.
When it comes to exercise, Tash maintains that workout clothes pump her up. "I used to wear old shorts and T-shirts to the gym – the oldest, ugliest things, because I thought it I sweated on them I would ruin them. But actually when you wear something that is flattering, you feel so much better. I think it helps you perform better," she told Women's Health.
"Life's too short to be worried about something that is not worth worrying about. I mean, the thing is everyone is completely different shapes and sizes. I think that as long as you're healthy and happy, that is a gift and something that you should feel so lucky and appreciative for. As long as you're working out and doing the right thing by your body, you should always feel confident within yourself. And if you're not, then perhaps that is a reason that you're not feeling as confident as you could," Tash told Buro. "I think that's where you actually find your confidence: through doing things that make you feel good within yourself. There's a lot more to life than just your physical appearance – being positive and embracing life for what it is is the most amazing thing you could ever do for yourself."
Aside from the gym, Tash maintains an active lifestyle. "Having grown up in Australia, I really love things like stand-up paddleboarding. I surfed when I lived in Hawaii, but it doesn't suit my lifestyle now," she told Women's Health UK, also revealing that she loves to do yoga.
