Tom Hiddleston was so jazzed to sing in The Pirate Fairy, its all pretty adorable
We need some Tommy Hiddleston today, don’t we? Unfortunately, Tommy has really been MIA for a few months now. I’m feeling the loss significantly. Tommy is such a dancing performance bear of a man, so eager to please, so needy, so lovely. I’m hoping that whenever he finishes filming in Toronto (with his new BFF Jessica Chastain), he’ll come back into our lives in a big way. Even if he just goes home to London, we should still get photos of him on the reg, as he loves to go out to events and parties. Here’s hoping!
Anyway, Tommy’s new direct-to-DVD animated film The Pirate Fairy has already had its LA premiere (no Hiddles) and I guess it’s already out. And there are probably thousands of Dragonflies who bought the DVD and are now currently fantasizing about a cartoon Captain Hook. Disney released another behind-the-scenes video of Tommy’s voice work (and singing!) for the film. Enjoy:
He is seriously so, so cute. He’s not, like, raw sexuality or anything. He’s just cute and sweet and he gets so jazzed about singing a cheesy pirate song for kids. It’s easy to imagine him as a dorky uncle, the one who will help you engineer the best pillow fort ever, all while whistling off-key.
Here are some additional videos from The Pirate Fairy, stuff that we’ve already seen but you’ll probably want to watch again:
