Tragic Death on the 'Jersey Shore'
A tragic loss for the Jersey Shore community! They are currently mourning the loss of this important part of the family, and we are too.
One of the cast members posted a touching tribute, which has us feeling emotional. Our condolences are with them at this time.

This past December, Deena Cortese opened up about the loss of her father, and why the season finale of Jersey Shore: Family Reunion meant so much to her.
“My roomies and I with the help of @mtv and @495productions throw an amazing dance-a-thon in honor of my dad John Cortese who passed away from Leukemia in 2016. We worked with @bethematch and @jenksclub and had such a successful night,” she wrote, alongside of a photo of the entire gang. She revealed that she was super excited to have raised 40k, “which all went towards @bethematchwhich helps people with leukemia, lymphoma and other diseases who need a marrow or umbilical cord blood transplant.”
https://www.instagram.com/p/Bx5-bZ2p62h/This news came close on the heels of reports that the star was prepping for her first child with her husband Chris Buckner. “Honestly, I don’t care about gifts, I just want to spend time with my family,” Cortese said. “My best gift will be my son, [who is] due on the 30th.”
Cortese and her husband announced the coming of their little one last July on social media. Taking to Instagram, she wrote, “Chris and I Decided to wait until we were ready to spill the beans! Now that we are safely into our second trimester.. us and our little monkey are ready to tell the world Our little family is growing !”
This time, Angelina Pivarnick is opening up on social media about a tragic loss to her family, rather than a happy addition.

“As I write this tears are falling down my face, I can’t even put into words what I am feeling right now,” she wrote. “All I know is I am heartbroken for my mother and my family… My mother is hurting more than ever this morning because last night she had to put her child her baby her best friend down.”
The post was accompanied by a slideshow of pictures that feature the lost one. She continued on with her lengthy caption.
